China-Japan Smart Technology Industry Cooperation Session Held at Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair

On April 26, 2024, during the Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting, the China-Japan Smart Technology Industry Cooperation Session was held at the Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair in Beijing. Experts from companies such as Sony, Ricoh, and Yokogawa Electric gathered to explore the future collaboration in the smart technology industry between China and Japan.

In her address, Zhou Xinrong, Deputy District Mayor of Daxing District, Beijing, expressed that the Zhongguancun Forum has provided a high-quality platform for exchanges in the field of smart technology between China and Japan. Leveraging the innovation clusters and resources of the Beijing China-Japan Innovation Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Daxing, she anticipated mutual learning among guests to spark innovation.

Lou Yixiang, Deputy General Manager of Zhongguancun Development Group, mentioned that China and Japan have established a mutually beneficial cooperation framework. Through the platform of the Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair, they aim to promote the deepening development of smart technology in both countries and jointly create a bright future for the industry. 662f7941e4b03b5da6d0df8d.png At the matchmaking event, Sony presented new entertainment technologies, Yokogawa Electric showcased miniature intelligent wireless sensors based on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Ricoh introduced an office digitalization service platform based on RAG technology, Healthcare Vision displayed non-invasive blood glucose and other bio-information detection devices, and AffordSENS showcased a real-time remote digital health management system, among 30 high-quality innovative projects from Japan.

Ms. Haruko Yoneyama, Executive Director of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), emphasized the enduring neighborly relationship between China and Japan, expressing hopes for broader channels of communication and exchange in the future.

During the cooperation dialogue session, representatives from investment institutions and renowned companies from China and Japan such as ZhenFund, Yokogawa Electric, Ricoh China Research Institute, Kyulux from Japan, Haier Open Innovation Platform, and CETC HIK Group engaged in discussions about present and future collaborative innovation between China and Japan. Several Japanese companies also conducted project roadshows at the event.
