On February 19th, China Eastern Airlines (CEA) and the online fashion and lifestyle retailer SHEIN comprehensively deepened their strategic cooperation. Under this collaboration, CEA Logistics and SHEIN signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation. Both parties will enhance cooperation by leveraging CEA's extensive route network, expanding charter flight services, and strengthening logistics layouts in Southern China and overseas markets. This aims to promote strategic and operational synergy, enhance cross-border fulfillment capabilities and logistics efficiency, and continuously provide professional cross-border logistics support for high-quality Chinese products and brands to enter international markets. It also aims to offer global consumers a more premium user experience.

In recent years, cross-border e-commerce has seen rapid development, becoming an important format and model for foreign trade, injecting strong impetus into the growth of domestic cargo exports. CEA Logistics has increased its business investment and collaborated with cross-border e-commerce platforms and enterprises like SHEIN, resulting in a steady increase in the volume of cross-border e-commerce operations. Currently, China Cargo Airlines, a subsidiary of CEA Logistics, operates 14 B777 freighters, running scheduled and charter flights from Shanghai and Shenzhen to international cargo hubs such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, New York, and Los Angeles. Additionally, it operates cargo services in the belly holds of nearly 800 passenger aircraft owned by China Eastern Airlines, providing comprehensive and thoughtful cross-border e-commerce logistics services to platforms and enterprises. SHEIN currently serves consumers in over 150 countries and regions worldwide. Leveraging mature supply resources in the Pearl River Delta and the Greater Bay Area, combined with SHEIN's innovative flexible and on-demand supply chain model, SHEIN's platform strategy further expanded in 2023. Based on its extensive global sales channels, mature marketing experience, and innovative supply chain system, SHEIN is assisting more brands and merchants in expanding into the global international market, forming a dual-engine development model of "self-owned brands + platform."

As cross-border e-commerce continues to grow stronger, SHEIN will rely on the advantages of CEA Logistics' route network and its own strengths to continuously enhance its service and support capabilities for cross-border e-commerce enterprises. It aims to provide more secure, efficient, and one-stop logistics solutions tailored to the development of cross-border e-commerce, jointly promoting the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry.
