On April 15th, Origin Quantum announced that its latest development, the "Origin Wukong" superconducting quantum computer, has surpassed 5 million global visits since its debut.

Since its launch on January 6th, "Origin Wukong" has provided three months of large-scale, stable indigenous quantum computing power services to users worldwide, marking China's official entry into the era of quantum computing power application.

It is reported that "Origin Wukong" has achieved autonomy and controllability in four aspects: hardware, chips, operating systems, and application software, with a domestication rate exceeding 80%. Other parts also have alternative solutions through independent research and development.

The name "Origin Wukong" is derived from the mythological character Sun Wukong in traditional Chinese culture, symbolizing the flexible and versatile ability like Sun Wukong's "72 Transformations."

This quantum computer is equipped with a 72-bit autonomous superconducting quantum chip called the "Wukong Chip," manufactured on China's first quantum chip production line. It boasts 198 quantum bits, including 72 operational qubits and 126 coupler qubits.

In addition, "Origin Wukong" is also equipped with Origin's third-generation quantum computing measurement and control system, "Origin Tianji," which achieves batch automation testing of quantum chips for the first time in China, increasing the overall efficiency of quantum computers by tens of times. 5f07ecba-30af-41d6-9ad4-ca8019fa421c.png Researchers at Origin Quantum are working on the assembly and debugging of the "Origin Wukong" production line.
