On April 7th, according to an announcement from the official Weibo account of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, the elevated depot of the Chengdu Rail Transit Ziyang Line, constructed by China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., has been put into operation. This marks the debut of China's first metro depot designed with a terraced layout.

The terraced design not only maximizes the utilization of the terrain, blending the depot harmoniously with its surrounding environment but also lends the structure a unique visual impact with its well-arranged and layered layout. s_2ff7aa3be25f453b97602f61726bbd41.jpg The integrated building, particularly as the central hub, boasts a tiered terrace design reminiscent of a miniature "Potala Palace," blending the charm of traditional Chinese architecture with the innovation of modern design. Such an architectural marvel not only elevates the overall image of the parking structure but also offers a fresh destination for locals, further propelling the development of cultural tourism. s_3056e0b3007942c8a70f03236fdf5a95.jpg Furthermore, during the construction process, the project team demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency and a rigorous work ethic. They completed the mechanical and electrical installation, masonry, interior decoration, metal roofing, and other construction tasks for 16 individual buildings to a high standard and with high quality within a span of 10 months, undoubtedly showcasing their professional capabilities.

Especially noteworthy was their execution of the steel structure construction for the elevated stations. The project team utilized advanced methods such as in-depth design technology and 3D scanning to ensure the precise dimensions of each irregular plate, thereby enhancing construction standards and providing robust support for the smooth progress of the project.

Moreover, the comprehensive building of the depot, serving as a focal point of the detailed design, demonstrated ingenuity in its internal layout and functional divisions. By designating the ground floor lobby as the core area and systematically connecting elevator lobbies, exhibition halls, and reception rooms, they created a seamless timeline for showcasing, communication, and activities. This approach not only maximized space utilization but also transformed the entire comprehensive building into a centralized control center space, seamlessly integrating functionality and aesthetics. s_91082949bd46477ea637981ed1b3fca6.jpg
