On March 9th, reports from several domestic media outlets revealed a heart-wrenching incident where a child experienced a febrile seizure due to high fever, leaving the mother in a panic-stricken state, barely coherent, as she rushed the child to the hospital.

In the midst of her distress, the mother accidentally tripped and fell while running, yet she held onto her child tightly. Promptly, a nearby traffic officer approached to console the mother and took the child from her arms, swiftly heading towards the hospital.

Netizens expressed their emotional response, stating, "Watching such videos makes me cry. Those with children understand."

It is understood that febrile seizure is an emergency condition occurring in children during a fever episode, often characterized by sudden loss of consciousness, limb convulsions, and rolling back of the eyes. Febrile seizures typically occur in children aged 6 months to 3 years, with a rapid onset and few long-term effects.

Experts advise that if a child's seizure lasts for more than 5 minutes or is accompanied by other severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing or persistent vomiting, immediate medical attention should be sought at the hospital.

Doctors will evaluate the child's specific condition to determine the underlying cause of the febrile seizure, allowing for tailored treatment approaches. s_280f42debff047ed913e43a6cd5c51ec.jpg
