On April 15th, Chery Automobile Chairman Yin Tongyue personally hit the road, live-streaming the long-distance highway advanced intelligent driving capabilities of the Chery Star Era ET along with Luo Zhenyu and renowned automotive media figure Wu Pei.

During the live stream, Yin Tongyue confessed that this time he employed some new internet thinking, saying, "Learning from Yu Chengdong, learning from Lei Jun, personally explaining, introducing, which has driven me, a man in his sixties, and everyone else to come out."

Yin Tongyue also stated that Chery, as Huawei's Ren Zhengfei once said, focuses on attacking around a central point, always aiming to break through and continuously push the ceiling of China's automotive industry, with the Star Era continuously breaking through the high-end segment.

Back in October last year, Yin Tongyue remarked, "In 2024, Chery's ranking in the new energy sector will not be as modest as it was this year! We will definitely enter the top positions."

Reflecting on these words during the live stream, Yin Tongyue admitted, "This is a speech I regret, it doesn't fit my past persona, nor does it suit my age. How can someone in their sixties be so immature and talk big?"

However, Yin Tongyue has set new goals: to return to the top three in new energy by mid-year and to become the second in the industry by the end of this year, saying, "We want to see Wang Chuanfu's back." S2550450f-7c3c-4f16-be77-9b0a9ffd3189.png
