Wu Xuxi: The attendance of Mazda's president signifies the accelerated development process of Changan Mazda in the field of new energy in China. Changan Mazda is the first joint venture brand to exhibit a full range of new energy vehicles, demonstrating our emphasis on the Chinese market and the transition to new energy.

Pulsestacks: In the face of the Chinese new energy vehicle market, what is Changan Mazda's core competitiveness?

Wu Xuxi: Changan Mazda's core competitiveness is mainly reflected in three aspects. Firstly, both parent companies have provided firm support to the joint venture company. Secondly, Changan and Mazda possess strong technical capabilities in their respective fields, enabling them to jointly support the development of the joint venture company. Lastly, Changan Mazda has a mature production system of 20 years and has established a global research and development center in Nanjing, dedicated to building its own research and development capabilities. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcms-bucket.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0427%2F5f98171fj00scl1ba004kc0010o00jgc.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg Pulsestacks: What changes have occurred in the cooperation model of joint venture brands in the electrification transformation track?

Wu Xuxi: Changan Mazda is now adopting the Joint Venture Era 2.0 model, no longer solely relying on importing products from the foreign party, but empowering both parent companies to enable the joint venture company to independently develop in the Chinese market, create products suitable for the Chinese market, and achieve global reverse output. For example, the Mazda EZ-6 is not a China-exclusive model; it is still a global Mazda model, and there are sales plans for it overseas as well.

Pulsestacks: Do you think this model will become the new norm for joint ventures in the Chinese automotive industry?

Wu Xuxi: I believe this will become a normalized model, based on the rapid pace of China's new energy development and its leading position in electrification and intelligent fields.

Pulsestacks: In the transformation of the new era, what challenges might Changan Mazda face?

Wu Xuxi: The main challenge lies in the process of both parties jointly creating products needing to be fine-tuned, as well as consumer recognition and acceptance under the new model.

Pulsestacks: What are Changan Mazda's plans in the field of new energy next year?

Wu Xuxi: This year, the EZ-6 will be launched in the domestic market and simultaneously globally. Next, we will introduce new vehicles based on concept models and plan to launch the third and fourth models. The EZ-6 will be the first product with extended-range power mode for a Chinese joint venture brand.
