On March 14th, during NIO's Long-life Battery Communication Conference, CEO and founder William Li announced that the vehicle models equipped with the 150kWh battery have completed matching and road testing and are set to be deployed soon.

As early as 2021, NIO unveiled this battery, but it had yet to be made available for consumers to opt for until the end of last year. William Li brought it back into the public eye by driving a NIO ET7 equipped with the 150kWh battery, completing a challenge of over 1000 kilometers of range, showcasing its capabilities. c9ffa3c5-6547-4476-af3d-8f2efae7a714.png According to reports, the battery claimed to be the world's first heat-controlled soft pack CTP battery. The cells used are independently developed by NIO, with a high energy density of up to 360Wh/kg, making it the highest-capacity and highest-energy-density power battery pack currently available domestically, compatible with all models on NIO's first and second-generation platforms.

Additionally, during the communication meeting, Li Bin mentioned that as of March 13th, NIO had deployed 2382 swap stations, including 778 on highways, and 3724 charging stations with 21,652 connectors, along with over 1 million third-party connectors.

As of yesterday evening at 23:32:40, NIO officially announced completing its 40 millionth battery swap. The data released during this meeting indicated that as of 10 a.m. today, NIO has conducted over 40,011,699 swap services and 35,693,248 public charging sessions.

Regarding the recent slowdown in swap station deployments, Li Bin provided an explanation, citing the wait for the fourth-generation stations. It's been reported that the fourth-generation swap stations will begin deployment in April, featuring 23 battery compartments and a maximum daily service of 480 swaps, reducing swap time by 22% compared to the third-generation stations.

According to the plan, NIO will continue to build 1000 swap stations in 2024, completing 3310 stations, and add another 20,000 charging poles, totaling over 41,000, to provide a better charging and swapping experience for owners. 0ac8e112-94e7-418f-b132-c49db5951771.png
