On May 23rd, according to media reports, in response to the joint release of the "Implementation Rules for Subsidies for Old-for-New Cars" by seven departments including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance, a series of car purchase promotions have been launched.
It is reported that users who purchase the Zhidou Rainbow Cloud Comfort, Mu Guang, or Rainbow Edition can now enjoy a new energy cash subsidy of 10,000 yuan and a Zhidou manufacturer cash subsidy of 3,000 yuan, saving a total of 13,000 yuan.
Furthermore, the scrappage amount for old Zhidou cars ranges from 2,000 to 4,000 yuan, meaning that the total maximum discount can reach up to 17,000 yuan.
Some stores also offer special benefits for old car owners who switch to the Zhidou Rainbow, including booking gifts, low down payments, and low monthly installments, among other multiple discounts.
The Zhi Dou Rainbow, as a pure electric microcar, features a unique exterior design that bears resemblance to the Wuling Hongguang MINIEV but with a cuter appearance.
With its three-door, four-seat design, along with Y-shaped daytime running lights and a large trapezoidal intake grille, the vehicle's recognition factor is enhanced.
The side profile is sleek with plenty of horizontal lines, and the two-tone body design adds a touch of fashion.
The vehicle's taillights also feature a Y-shaped light cavity structure, echoing the front headlights. The mid to high-end models are equipped with rear parking radar and a reverse camera.
As for the interior, the Zhidou Rainbow features a simple and cute design, with plenty of circular elements and a cream color scheme creating a warm atmosphere. The dual-spoke steering wheel, floating instrument panel, and central control screen enhance the sense of technology.
The body dimensions of the vehicle are 3224/1515/1630mm, with a wheelbase of 2100mm. Compared to the Hongguang MINIEV, the dimensions of the Zhi Dou Rainbow are larger, with an increase of 304mm in length and 160mm in wheelbase.
In terms of power performance, the Zhi Dou Rainbow offers three options for pure electric range under CLTC conditions: 125km, 201km, and 205km, as well as two choices for maximum motor power: 20kW and 30kW.
For the battery, it uses lithium iron phosphate batteries provided by Guoxuan High-Tech and Honeycomb Energy. The suspension structure consists of a front MacPherson and rear torsion beam non-independent suspension combination.
