According to the repair invoice he shared, the total repair cost amounted to 15,700 CNY.
During the accident, the air suspension air tank of the Xiaomi SU7 was knocked off, and repairing this component only cost 640 CNY. The most expensive part in the entire vehicle repair was also only 1,350 CNY (involving 24 parts).
This news sparked discussions among netizens. Some Audi, Volvo, and other car owners expressed envy, considering that for a car model approaching 300,000 CNY, these repair costs are indeed cheap. Some even expressed interest in switching to Xiaomi SU7 after seeing the repair expenses.
Some Volvo owners have expressed that the price is really a bargain. For a model like the S60, a similar collision repair would cost around 30,000 CNY.
A Tesla owner mentioned that repainting at a Xiaomi 4S store costs only 800 CNY, while repainting at Tesla would cost 1,600 CNY per panel.
Another netizen shared their experience: "Some time ago, I accidentally rear-ended a Camry. My radiator grille was completely damaged, and the repair cost almost reached 60,000 CNY."
