• Also, the prices for all five models are currently rather high, likely because they've just gone online and they're trying to prevent excessive orders.

On the afternoon of March 16th, a contract signing ceremony for the strategic partnership between JD Group and BYD was held at JD's headquarters in Beijing. BYD's chairman and president, Wang Chuanfu, and JD Group's CEO, Xu Ran, attended the ceremony and witnessed the signing. According to the agreement, the two parties will engage in comprehensive cooperation in the following areas: full-channel marketing and after-sales service systems for passenger vehicles, full-scenario cooperation and customized special-scenario commercial vehicles, intelligent supply chain services, bulk procurement of operating supplies for businesses, and integrated services.

JD Auto will leverage its omni-channel presence, comprehensive marketing capabilities, and strong customer base to collaborate with BYD in various areas, including vehicle sales, B2B partnership, marketing innovation, user operation, and battery maintenance services. This partnership aims to provide car owners with an optimal end-to-end automotive consumption experience.

JD Logistics, with its nationwide and international warehouse network, distribution system, and expertise in smart supply chain management and automated warehousing, will support BYD in inventory management, order fulfillment, and international logistics services for pre-production components and aftermarket spare parts. This collaboration will enable BYD to optimize inventory costs, shorten delivery lead times, enhance customer experience, and facilitate global expansion.
