On May 10th, BYD officially launched the Dolphin 07 EV, offering a total of 4 models with prices ranging from 189,800 to 239,800 RMB.
The official release of the new car includes five major benefits packages, such as zero down payment renewal, free charging pile giveaways, and a lifetime quality assurance for the three-electric system.
The BYD Sea Lion 07 EV is the first model of the BYD e-platform 3.0 Evo, featuring an efficient twelve-in-one intelligent electric drive system. The motor can reach a maximum speed of 23,000 rpm, providing the vehicle with higher performance reserves. It comes standard with a 1200V silicon carbide power module, further enhancing the electric drive performance.
The new car measures 483019251620mm, with a wheelbase of 2930mm, making it a mid-size SUV. Based on the previous Ocean X concept car, it embodies the distinctive BYD Ocean aesthetic style.
The interior of the Hai Shi EV07 adopts BYD's latest design language, similar to the Qin L model. The central control is integrated, featuring a full LCD instrument panel with a rotatable floating Pad, along with a compact electronic crystal gear lever, balancing technology and user-friendliness.
In terms of intelligent driving, the Hai Shi EV07 will be equipped with BYD's advanced "Eye of the Sky" intelligent driving system, offering functions such as lane-keeping, lane guidance, lever lane changing, traffic sign recognition, and intelligent speed limit, claiming to comprehensively learn the driving strategies of human drivers.
For power configuration, the Hai Shi 07EV offers a choice between a single motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The single-motor version comes with power options of 170kW and 230kW, with a range of up to 550km and 610km.
The dual-motor four-wheel drive version has maximum power of 160kW and 230kW for the front and rear motors respectively, equipped with an 80.64kWh battery pack, providing a range of 550km.
Moreover, the BYD e-platform 3.0 EVO introduces the world's highest-speed production motor, with a maximum speed of 23000rpm. With the support of the ultra-high-speed motor, the Hai Shi 07 EV achieves a top speed of 225km/h.
