The BYD Dolphin 06 has been officially launched with prices ranging from 99,800 to 139,800 RMB.
This mid-sized sedan shares the same platform as the Qin L and features BYD's latest fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, offering two pure electric ranges of 80km and 120km under CLTC conditions.
Reportedly, the Sea Lion 06 is available in 5 models, with a maximum subsidy of up to 15,000 yuan for new car replacements, as well as a 5,000 yuan subsidy for BYD users.
The SeaLion 06 continues the design concept of the BYD Ocean series, featuring a dynamic enclosed front face and a large-mouthed grille design.
The rear of the car is equipped with trendy full-width taillights and a glowing BYD logo, enhancing brand recognition.
The car has dimensions of 4830/1875/1495mm, a wheelbase of 2790mm, and is positioned as a mid-size sedan.
In terms of interior design, the Hai Bao 06 adopts a marine family style, with a lot of curved designs on the door panels and seats, complemented by blue accents, creating an elegant and stylish atmosphere.
The car is also equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central control screen, as well as a circular gear shifting area and exquisite gear shift lever.
In terms of configuration, the Seal 06 comes standard with 13 highlighted features, including front MacPherson + new rear E-type four-link independent suspension, NFC mobile phone car key, original ETC, adaptive rotating floating Pad, 8.8-inch instrument panel, and 6 safety airbags.
The high-end models also offer 22kW DC fast charging, 6.6kW AC slow charging, panoramic sunroof, L2 level intelligent driving assistance system, and other luxury features.
In terms of power, the Seal 06 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, introducing AI into car energy management. The engine has a maximum power of 74 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 126N·m.
Depending on the configuration, two types of blade lithium iron phosphate batteries are provided: 10.08kWh and 15.874kWh, with pure electric range under CLTC conditions of 80km and 120km respectively.
The energy consumption under NEDC conditions is 2.9L/100km, while under CLTC conditions, it is 10.7kWh/100km. The acceleration time from 0 to 100km/h is 7.5 seconds.
The launch of the SeaLion 06 has further enriched BYD's Ocean Network product line, aiming to capture a share of the household car market alongside the Qin L.
