On March 17th, at the China Electric Vehicle Hundred-Person Forum, Li Yunfei, General Manager of Brand and Public Relations at BYD, stated that while China's new energy vehicles are just beginning to go global, overseas competitors are already feeling the heat.

During his speech, Li Yunfei emphasized that compared to the real estate industry, China's automotive sector offers the best value proposition for consumers with high-quality products, competitive pricing, and excellent service.

Currently, China has emerged as a powerhouse in new energy vehicles. Whether considering the global scale of production and sales of new energy vehicles, the global market share of power batteries, or the number of patents in the field, it's undeniable that Chinese brands are leading the pack.

Chinese brands and new energy vehicles from China are accelerating their international expansion. "In fact, the overseas market is just getting started, but the competition is already feeling the pressure," remarked Li Yunfei.

"Regardless of the geopolitical landscape in the coming years, Chinese brands will continue their steadfast global expansion, but at the same time, we must also make adequate preparations to address various challenges."

Li Yunfei disclosed that BYD has been involved in commercial vehicle operations overseas for over a decade, but its passenger vehicle business has only been in operation for just over two years, showing rapid growth. Presently, BYD passenger vehicles can be found in over 70 countries and regions worldwide. c5d5402d-4c9e-4b29-9715-e0df02b1499d.png
