Brothers in Misfortune: Two Vehicles Flip into Farmland Successively within 2 Minutes on the Same Road Section

On May 10th, as the season transitions from late spring to early summer, many regions have been experiencing frequent rainy weather. It is a reminder to all drivers that extra caution is needed when driving in rainy conditions.

Around 8 a.m. on April 30th, a white truck in the area skidded on the slippery road surface, lost control, spun around, hit a roadside lamp post, and then flipped into a nearby farmland.

Merely two minutes later, while the driver of the first vehicle was still in shock, another white box truck traveling in the same direction also lost control and flipped into the farmland at the same location.

Due to the rainy weather at that time and the slippery road surface, both trucks failed to decelerate in time, which was the main reason for the consecutive accidents.

It is understood that in slippery road conditions, the friction between tires and the ground significantly decreases, leading to insufficient traction and an increased risk of skidding.

Especially for trucks, due to their heavier weight, the corresponding inertia increases, requiring larger contact areas for tires to ensure grip. Therefore, skidding is more likely to occur on low-traction road surfaces.

To prevent similar incidents, it is strongly recommended that all drivers reduce speed appropriately, maintain a safe distance, and ensure the good condition of their vehicle's tires when driving in rainy or other slippery road conditions to enhance safety. 63b97b93b04a4a1f9552d0a74e37043f.gif
