On April 15th, we received official confirmation from Buick that the all-new Buick GL8 Landzun PHEV has officially begun accepting pre-orders.
As the plug-in hybrid version of the GL8, this vehicle will be equipped with Buick's latest generation of E-REV plug-in hybrid system, offering a combined range of over 1000 kilometers.
Official sources indicate that the all-new Buick GL8 Landeavour PHEV is set to hit the market, with its pricing expected to be announced possibly at the Beijing Auto Show.
From the images previously released, the GL8 Luezun PHEV adopts the design style of the Buick Century, forming a distinct difference from the fuel version model.
In the front design, the LED daytime running lights feature a continuous design, and the upper and lower headlight units are integrated with the vertical layout ventilation grille decorations on both sides of the front bumper. The large-sized central radiator grille further enhances the vehicle's presence.
In the rear design, the new car also adopts the style of the Buick Century, with chrome decorative strips highlighting its luxurious atmosphere.
In terms of power, the Buick GL8 Landzun PHEV is equipped with a new generation of intelligent electric plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor.
Referring to the Explorer PLUS, its engine has a maximum power of 127 kilowatts, and the electric motor has a maximum power of 140 kilowatts. The comprehensive cruising range exceeds 1000 kilometers.
