According to JD, the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design marks the global debut of JD's Tandem Stacked OLED smart terminal solution, offering an exceptional performance experience with ultra-high brightness, outstanding battery life, and extended longevity.
In the current common OLEO screen structure, the RGB emissive layer is singular, known as a single stack.
With this new technology, the RGB emissive layer is doubled, stacked vertically, and connected in series, known as dual-stack serial connection.
Double stacking can reduce current leakage and energy loss, lowering energy consumption, while achieving higher brightness. It also reduces the risk of burn-in while maintaining color saturation, thus extending the screen's lifespan.
According to official statements, the Tandem dual-stack OLED architecture can increase screen lifespan by up to 600%, with a maximum efficiency ratio increase of 40%. This significantly reduces the risk of OLED burn-in, while the excellent efficiency ratio greatly extends the phone's battery life.
Furthermore, both the Magic6 Ultimate Edition and the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design adopt the industry-leading 4320Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming mode, which can significantly reduce the potential harm of screen flicker to the eyes in low-light environments.
