Boeing aircraft emergency slide suspected to have fallen off into New York waters: Drifts to the doorstep of a lawyer suing Boeing

On May 2nd, it was reported that Boeing aircraft incidents have been frequent this year, with various parts detaching during flights. It started with cabin doors, then landing gear, and most recently, an emergency slide.

Reportedly, on April 26th, a Boeing 767 aircraft operated by Delta Air Lines flying from New York's JFK International Airport to Los Angeles had its right wing emergency slide detach after takeoff. The plane had to return to JFK International Airport for an emergency landing. At the time of the incident, there were over 150 people on board. d7f6222c-325c-4919-abf9-f35930ecdc58.jpg The Federal Aviation Administration in a statement said that the crew members discovered abnormal shaking of the emergency slide on the right wing after takeoff, and upon inspection, found that the slide had detached from the aircraft. The crew then contacted air traffic control and declared an emergency landing.

Two days later, on April 28, attorney Bisl Linsk, who resides in a beachfront villa in Queens, New York, discovered something floating on the shore near his home. Upon closer inspection, he found it to be a suspected inflatable emergency evacuation slide used on airplanes. Coincidentally, Bisel is currently suing Boeing over a plane door detachment incident earlier this year. The discovery of what appears to be an emergency slide from a Boeing aircraft outside his home seems like a silent show of support, but Bisel maintains that the true nature of the find awaits investigation by the appropriate authorities.
