On May 10th, a blogger recently conducted a night test of the advanced intelligent driving features of the Zhiji S7. The test route was particularly challenging, taking place on a village road without lane markings.
In the video, after activating the advanced intelligent driving feature on the Zhiji S7, despite the road lacking lane markings and edge lines, the UI interface on the car's central control screen showed that the intelligent driving system automatically delineated the road using laser radar and sensors.
During sharp turns, the Zhiji S7 showed no hesitation, confidently steering based on the recognized road, displaying driving skills akin to an experienced driver.
The most impressive part was when approaching a section with four road barriers, the intelligent driving system accurately identified the gaps between the barriers and smoothly maneuvered through them, showcasing extremely precise and seamless driving actions.
After passing the barrier section, encountering oncoming traffic, the intelligent driving system automatically yielded to the other vehicles. With the passenger side nearing a wall, the vehicle smoothly passed by, without stopping at any point throughout the journey.
Even more astonishingly, while driving, faced with a half-closed lane due to a large barrier, the vehicle paused for 1-2 seconds before automatically maneuvering around and swiftly overcoming the obstacle.
The blogger expressed admiration, stating that the Zhiji S7 currently sets the benchmark for intelligent driving in the automotive market. With Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) entering the domestic market, it may face tough competition.
