According to official sources, the device will officially kick off its first sale today at 10 a.m. Due to titanium metal crafting issues, it will be slightly delayed in hitting the market.
The tech blogger Digital Chatter gave us a sneak peek with some real-life shots before the release, showcasing the appearance of Xiaomi's priciest Ultra model ever. The titanium-colored mid-frame paired with the black Kevlar leather gives it a more premium and sophisticated look, adding a touch of elegance to the business vibe.
The overall configuration and design of the device remain unchanged, but the mid-frame material has been upgraded to titanium alloy, utilizing TC-4 super-strong titanium alloy.
With a yield strength of 900 megapascals, the mid-frame is 214% stronger than that of the standard Xiaomi 14 Ultra, boasting a material hardness that's 259% higher than the standard version.
Lu Weibing mentioned that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Edition undergoes CNC secondary processing using custom tools, with a yield rate of only 50%, resulting in extremely high costs.
The core configuration remains unchanged, featuring a 6.7-inch full-curve display, powered by Qualcomm's third-generation Snapdragon 8 series chipset, equipped with a quad-camera setup including a 50-megapixel Leica Summilux lens, a built-in 5300mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and also featuring bi-directional satellite communication.
