On March 13th, reports from domestic media suggest that Xiaomi's first mass-produced car, the SU7, will primarily compete with the Tesla Model 3 and the Xpeng P001.

According to insiders, Xiaomi's first mass-produced car, the SU7, will target the Tesla Model 3 and the Xpeng P001 as its main competitors, a decision made during internal training sessions.

If this turns out to be true, then the pricing hinted by Lei Jun earlier would also make sense, likely exceeding 200,000 CNY, given that both of these models fall within this price range.

In a previous public interview, Lei Jun mentioned the pricing of Xiaomi's first car, the SU7, saying, "Xiaomi may indeed be a bit expensive. Prices like 99,000, 149,900, or even 199,000 that everyone's calling for, I think are all jokes." This implies that the starting price of the Xiaomi SU7 will likely surpass 200,000 CNY.

Additionally, a blogger mentioned that April will mark the first month of sales for the Xiaomi SU7. If production capacity ramps up to over 5,000 units, coupled with several thousand units produced in March (to be delivered upon launch), the initial monthly sales volume could even approach ten thousand units.

Some netizens have inquired about the estimated production volume of the Xiaomi SU7 this year. The blogger responded, "Around 80,000 units." They also noted that Xiaomi SU7 plans to have an annual production capacity of 150,000 units (approximately 12,500 units per month), but initially, it's likely to face supply shortages due to the ramp-up phase of production. s_78e66e645008495984c844da1eb9f775.jpg
