On March 14th, according to the latest statistics from research institutions, the sudden return of the Mate 60 series has significantly boosted Hisilicon's shipments, driven by the Kirin chipset.

Canalys released the rankings for smartphone System on Chip (SOC) shipments in Q4 2023, with Hisilicon emerging as the most prominent player thanks to the strong sales of the Mate 60 series. Here are the specific figures:

The top three are MediaTek, Apple, and Qualcomm, with year-on-year growth rates of 21%, 7%, and 1% respectively.

Samsung saw the biggest decline in the rankings, with shipments dropping by 48% year-on-year. Google, while experiencing a relatively modest decline compared to the same period, only saw a 4% decrease overall.

Hisilicon, on the other hand, surged directly by 5121% year-on-year, securing the fourth spot in the rankings.

The substantial sales of the Mate 60 and Mate X5 series, coupled with the skyrocketing shipments of the Kirin 9000S chipset, have directly driven the increase in Hisilicon's shipments.

Previous reports indicate that as of March 1st, the combined sales of the Huawei Mate 60 series and Mate X5 (foldable screen) have exceeded 10 million units.

Following Huawei's strategy, the next step will likely involve the comprehensive integration of the Kirin chipset into its smartphones, potentially leading to the abandonment of Qualcomm Snapdragon. This move indeed promises even better prospects for Hisilicon. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0314%2F38c6f6bbj00sabezf000yd000go00b4g.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg
