On April 13th, news broke that "The Little Mermaid" star Halle Bailey and her rapper boyfriend DDG have parted ways. Just three months after welcoming their son in January, it's said that DDG wasn't quite ready to take on all the responsibilities of fatherhood.
Currently, both parties have removed all traces of each other from their social media and have unfollowed each other.
Earlier, in a talk show segment hosted by Variety magazine, two Disney live-action princesses—Halle Bailey from "The Little Mermaid" and Rachel Zegler from "Snow White"—shared their experiences dealing with online criticism and attacks from internet trolls.
Zegler remarked, "I deeply admire how gracefully you handle those relentless online critics, proving them completely wrong. I tend to engage with them quite often because, well, that's just who I am."
Bailey lamented that many online users disregard actors' feelings and say whatever they want without considering the impact. She expressed, "We're sensitive beings; we're actors, but we're also human, you know? It hurts me too."
