Recently, TikTok issued a warning about fraudulent activities such as fake likes, fake jobs, and posting videos on behalf of others. Some accounts have been actively posting job recruitment information within private messages and group chats, covering various types of tasks like fake likes, fake jobs, and posting videos on behalf of others. After establishing contact with victims, they lure them into continuous transfers and recharges through third-party apps with small rewards, ultimately causing financial losses.
TikTok advises its users to be cautious of all types of online part-time job information, especially when encountering requests to download third-party apps, pay deposits or guarantees, or claims to increase income by recharging. It's important to stop such operations immediately.
The platform continues to crack down on such fraudulent activities. In January and February 2024, over 160,000 accounts involved in part-time jobs, brushing orders, and other fraudulent behaviors were penalized. Daily, over 3,000 warnings about the risks of brushing orders were issued, with more than 40,000 reminders sent to users via 96110. Douyin reminds everyone to report any abnormal behavior on the platform through internal channels or email. Douyin will continue to regulate violations and inappropriate content. Clues involving illegal activities will be reported to public security authorities to collectively uphold "cybersecurity."
