Notice on the Announcement of Preliminary Review Results for the First Batch of Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation Projects for 2024
In accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of the Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation and the Regulations on the Administration of the Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation Projects and the application notice, the Municipal Fund Office has completed the preliminary review of the Beijing Outstanding Young Scientists Fund Projects (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Outstanding Young Scientists Projects), Key Research Topic Projects, Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation-Xiaomi Innovation Joint Fund Projects (hereinafter referred to as Municipal Fund-Xiaomi Joint Fund Projects), Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation-Huairou Innovation Joint Fund Projects (hereinafter referred to as Municipal Fund-Huairou Joint Fund Projects), and the first batch of Foreign Scholars "Huizhi" Projects (hereinafter referred to as Foreign Scholars "Huizhi" Projects). A total of 741 project applications were received and 3 were rejected. Among them, 214 applications were received for the Beijing Outstanding Young Scientists Projects with 1 rejection; 181 applications were received for the Key Research Topic Projects with 1 rejection; 188 applications were received for the Municipal Fund-Xiaomi Joint Fund Projects; 89 applications were received for the Municipal Fund-Huairou Joint Fund Projects; and 69 applications were received for the Foreign Scholars "Huizhi" Projects with 1 rejection.
Host units can log in to the host unit work system (https://nsf.kw.beijing.gov.cn/bjnsfweb) to inquire about the acceptance status of their application projects.
I. Preliminary Review and Review Process
For projects that are not accepted, applicants who disagree with the non-acceptance decision can submit a review application through the system. Applications for modification, correction, or addition of materials to the application form will not be accepted. The review application process is as follows:
Log in to the host unit work system using the username and password used when applying for the project;
Under the "Project Approval Management" menu, click on "Review Application Management", fill in the review application and submit it for unit review;
After the unit review is approved, print, sign, and stamp the review application form, scan it into a single complete PDF file, and name it "Host Unit Name+Application Number+Review Application" and send it to [email protected] before 4:00 pm on April 4, 2024. The original sealed paper application materials should be kept by the host unit for backup, and the host unit shall be responsible for the authenticity and validity of the submitted review materials.
