Beats by Dre has teamed up with the athleisure brand Alo Yoga to release a special edition of the Beats Fit Pro in a sleek black finish. According to Alo Yoga, this new collaborative product features a custom casing with a high-gloss coating infused with sparkling accents, creating a liquid metal sheen, complemented by chic reflective interiors. The Beats "b" logo on the earbuds has been treated with a pearlescent finish, while the right earbud is adorned with an embossed Alo emblem.
Beats' Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Thorne, discussed the collaboration, stating: "The partnership between Beats and Alo feels like destiny, as both homegrown LA brands have left a lasting impact on fitness and culture. With a shared passion for high-performance products, Beats and Alo empower our customers to express their unique personalities vividly. We're thrilled to join forces with Alo to bring the perfect tech accessories to the fitness world."
Beats also enlisted Tyla to help promote the product release, showcasing the Grammy-winning artist wearing Beats in scenes from the Bahamas in a short film. Tyla's "Safer" played in the background of the video.
The Beats x Alo special edition Beats Fit Pro will be available starting April 4th at selected Apple and Alo stores, as well as on the Apple website, priced at $199.99. Pre-orders are currently open on the aloyoga.com website.
In July 2023, Beats by Dr. Dre introduced a special edition collaboration with Japan's Fragment Design, featuring black and white versions. This marks the second collaboration between Beats by Dr. Dre and Fragment Design, following the black-based Beats Flex released previously.
