Baseless Google Pixel Tablet Pricing Leak

Fri, May 03 2024 07:51 PM EST

Rumors surfaced yesterday suggesting that Google is gearing up to launch a Pixel tablet without a charging speaker base. Today, a new rumor "confirms" the previous speculation (as rumors tend to "confirm" just about anything) and adds pricing details for the new baseless tablet. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0426%2F2cc60965j00scjypk000bd000hs007ig.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg Fortunately, its price will be lower than the currently available tablet and dock bundle. Allegedly, in the Eurozone, the listed prices by an unnamed retailer for the tablets are 446 euros for the 128GB version and 553 euros for the 256GB version.

For comparison's sake, note that the bundled prices for these two storage capacities with the dock are currently 679 euros and 779 euros, respectively. However, the leaked prices seem a bit odd, possibly excluding value-added tax, which varies significantly across EU countries.

For instance, with Germany's 19% VAT included, the prices for the 128GB model would be 529 euros and 659 euros for the 256GB model. This still represents a considerable discount for users who do not require the dock.

Reportedly, these unnamed retailers have also listed the rumored Bluetooth keyboard accessory. The price in the inventory system is 89 euros, which may or may not be the final price. Without VAT, adding Germany's VAT would bring the final price to 105 euros. Additionally, the rumored stylus did not appear on the list, but yesterday's leak mentioned its price being the same as the keyboard. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0426%2F0063871dj00scjypk000td000hs00bvg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg
