Reports circulating on April 8th claimed that Gaohe Automotive had found a white knight in Avita, with an alleged acquisition agreement between the two companies. However, a spokesperson from Avita's public relations department has refuted these claims, stating that the information is unfounded.

According to media sources today, individuals close to Avita have disclosed ongoing discussions with Gaohe, possibly culminating in a cooperative agreement, and restructuring efforts are reportedly underway.

Previously, Gaohe Automotive announced on February 18th a six-month suspension of production. On the 22nd of the same month, Gaohe issued a "Recent Service Operation Guarantee Announcement," acknowledging significant operational adjustments and assuring customers of efforts to maintain after-sales services and vehicle networking functions.

Subsequently, Gaohe's founder, Ding Lei, appeared at the company's Shanghai headquarters to apologize to employees, admitting that outdated business strategies were inadequate in the face of internet-based competition. He emphasized a three-month window for Gaohe's potential turnaround and vowed active efforts in this regard.

Despite ongoing restructuring, Gaohe has not ceased its self-rescue efforts. Reports emerged on February 27th of Ding Lei's visit to Changan Automobile in Chongqing, where he reportedly met with Changan's chairman, Zhu Huarong. However, Changan Automobile refuted claims of acquiring a 51% stake in Gaohe or taking over its operations, dismissing such reports as inaccurate.

In March, Gaohe Automotive ventured into live-streaming sales of food products such as steaks, chicken fillets, and sausages via its official channels. All proceeds from these sales are earmarked for frontline after-sales support, aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and support. 5a300941-95e5-4406-a5d6-1a161ba2847d.jpg
