April 3rd: Autonomous brands always have their own tricks when it comes to competing and refreshing. Recently, Zhiji Motors unveiled the test results and real test video of its new sedan L6 Deer, with a passing speed of 71 km/h.
To be honest, this result is quite average. Sports cars, in particular, can even exceed 80 km/h. So why did the company still release it? It turns out that this was achieved under unmanned driving conditions, with the vehicle driving itself. If it were manually driven, the performance would undoubtedly be much better.
According to reports, the L6 is equipped with the independently developed "Intelligent Digital Chassis" by Zhiji, capable of achieving various seemingly futuristic functions, such as walking sideways, rotating 45 degrees in place, and easily maneuvering into parallel parking spaces.
This chassis incorporates a Central Coordinated Motion Controller (VMC), which, upon receiving instructions, enables the vehicle to move in "forward, backward, left, right, up, and down" directions, coordinating control in six directions. It can unify units including steering, braking, and suspension.
Combining the available information, the car measures over 4.9 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.95 meters. It's built on an 800V architecture and features semi-solid-state batteries, boasting a CLTC range of over 1000 kilometers, with a peak power of 475 kilowatts and a zero to one hundred kilometers per hour acceleration in the 2-second range.
Upon its release, the new car is expected to be positioned in the 250,000 to 350,000 CNY range, competing with electric sedans such as the Xiaomi SU7, Zhiji S7, Jike 007/001, and the Tesla Model 3.
