In the video, a monkey is walking along a railing when suddenly an elderly woman reaches out and touches the monkey's buttocks. In the next moment, the monkey turns its head and bites the face of an elderly man standing nearby. Afterwards, the monkey casually walks away as if nothing happened.
According to media reports, staff at the scenic spot stated that the tourist was injured at the time, and later staff members took him to treat the wound.
In response, some netizens commented: "The old man is so innocent," "In the end, the old man took all the blame," "It seems like the monkey realized it had bitten the wrong person in the end," and so on.
It is advised to check for active bleeding if bitten by a monkey.
For wounds with active bleeding, apply direct pressure to stop the bleeding. If bleeding persists after pressure, use a tourniquet for limb wounds.
If a tourniquet is not available, use a clean towel or clothing on-site to apply pressure and bandage the wound.
Monkey bite victims should immediately rinse the wound with flowing clean water for 15 minutes and be promptly transported to a medical facility with experience in treating animal injuries. Proper treatment should be administered by qualified medical professionals.
