On March 6th, we received official confirmation from Audi that their upcoming all-electric model, the Q6 e-tron, is scheduled for a global premiere on March 19th. This model boasts a 100 kWh battery and an 800V high-voltage platform, promising impressive performance and range.
It's reported that the vehicle will be built on the same PPE platform as the Porsche Macan EV, and will feature a 100kWh battery pack along with dual motors.
Judging from the official photos released, the new car will adopt the latest familial design language, giving it an overall more dynamic visual impression.
The front end features a closed-design grille with a polygonal pattern, complemented by sharp, split-type headlights on either side, enhancing its recognizability.
Moreover, the side profile of the Audi Q6 e-tron appears robust, with a strong waistline running from the front to the rear, coupled with 21-inch dual five-spoke wheels, exuding a sporty vibe.
In terms of the rear end, the vehicle boasts a sleek, continuous LED taillight assembly combined with a large bottom rear bumper component, making it highly distinctive.
On the interior front, the new car also introduces a three-screen design for the first time, referred to by the manufacturer as the "Digital Stage," with each screen featuring different sizes and functions.
Audi says: The ambient lighting creates a special nighttime atmosphere, making the system "appear to float in the air."
In terms of power, the new car offers two models: the Q6 55 e-tron and the SQ6 e-tron, with maximum power outputs of 375 horsepower and 483 horsepower respectively. The corresponding WLTP range is over 600km and 500km+.
As for the battery, the new car will be equipped with a 100kWh large battery. The 800V platform allows for a maximum charging speed of 270kW, taking approximately 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
