According to reports, the brand-new electric MINI COOPER will make its debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show on April 18th.
According to this, the vehicle will be manufactured domestically and sold in the domestic market, offering only the classic three-door body style.
Based on the previously released information, the new car is expected to be available for sale within 2024.
In terms of appearance, the all-new electric MINI COOPER adopts an electrified and digitized design language, while retaining many of the classic design elements of the MINI brand.
In terms of dimensions, the domestically produced all-new electric MINI COOPER measures 3858 (3863) / 1756 / 1458 millimeters in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2526 millimeters.
Thanks to its all-electric architecture, the electric MINI COOPER will feature wider wheel tracks, shorter front overhangs, larger diameter wheels, and a longer wheelbase, while still maintaining its compact 3.8-meter body length.
In terms of power, the new car will offer two power levels: MINI COOPER E and MINI COOPER SE. The former features a maximum power of 135 kilowatts for its drive motor, while the latter boasts a maximum power of 160 kilowatts for its drive motor, both paired with a ternary lithium battery pack from Hive Energy.
The initially announced models come equipped with a 51.497 kilowatt-hour battery pack, offering two versions of the CLTC pure electric range: 456 kilometers and 452 kilometers respectively.
