ASUS Z790 HERO BTF Motherboard Released: Supports 600W GPU Power

On March 18th, ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO BTF went on sale overseas, priced at 799 euros (approximately 6260 RMB).

It is reported that the Z790 HERO BTF is equipped with an LGA 1700 socket, supporting 13/14th generation Intel Core processors, with a core power supply of 20+1+2 phases and dual 8-pin power connectors.

The motherboard features four DDR5 memory slots, supporting DDR5 memory with speeds of up to 8000+ MT/s, and a memory capacity of 256GB. s_10458abd5e2d46ac88451ba9714c6221.jpg In terms of expansion slots, the Z790 HERO BTF comes with one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, and five M.2 slots (1 PCIe 5.0 x4, 4 PCIe 4.0 x4).

The motherboard supports standard graphics cards as well as those with BTF2.0 interface. The GC-HPWR power connector on top can deliver 600W of power to the graphics card, effortlessly driving an RTX4090 card.

In terms of interfaces, this motherboard features 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 6 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (5 Type-A + 1 Type-C), 4 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, along with 1 HDMI port and 1 2.5G Ethernet port.

For front interfaces, it provides 1 USB 20 Gbps header (supporting Type-C), 2 USB 5 Gbps headers (which can be divided into 4 Type-A ports), and 2 USB 2.0 headers (which can be divided into 4 USB 2.0 ports).
