On May 9th, Asus introduced the ROG STRIX XG32WCMS monitor, designed specifically for gamers.
The new monitor features a 31.5-inch curved Fast VA panel with a non-glare design, a curvature of 1500R, 8-bit color depth, a viewing angle of 178 degrees (both horizontally and vertically), a 16:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2560x1440, a refresh rate of 280Hz, and a 1ms response time (GtG).
The monitor features a typical/peak brightness of 350/400 nits, a typical/peak contrast ratio of 4000/100000000:1, DCI-P3 color gamut at 95%, sRGB color gamut at 125%, and each monitor undergoes rigorous factory pre-calibration before shipping.
Additionally, the ROG STRIX XG32WCMS also supports ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Adaptive Sync adaptive sync technology. Variable refresh rate (VRR) is enabled by default, and it is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400, TUV flicker-free, and low blue light certification.
This monitor features GamePlus technology driven by AI, which can analyze scenes on the screen in real-time and adjust the GamePlus crosshair to enhance aiming accuracy. The ergonomic stand provides a height adjustment range of 0 to 110mm, -25° to 25° swivel, and -5° to 20° tilt, along with support for VESA wall mounting in 100 x 100mm size, making it convenient for players to use an arm stand.
In terms of interfaces, the ROG STRIX XG32WCMS is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port, a DP 1.4 port, a USB Type-C port (supporting DP Alt mode and 15W PD power delivery), and a 3.5mm audio jack. The stand features a placement design for charging phones, ROG handheld consoles, and other devices during gaming.
