Recently, under the escort of the Qingdao Maritime Department, Asia's first cylindrical "offshore oil and gas processing plant" - the "Hai Kui One" designed and built independently by China, departed from the China National Offshore Oil Corporation's Qingdao international high-end equipment manufacturing base, laying the foundation for the production of China's first deepwater oilfield secondary development project within the year. After setting sail, the "Hai Kui One" will head to the Pearl River Mouth Basin for installation. 6654a3d2e4b03b5da6d0f96d.JPG The "Hai Kui 1" is loading at anchor in the port of Qingdao, Shandong Province. The "Hai Kui 1" integrates functions such as crude oil production, storage, and transportation. It consists of two parts: the hull and upper functional modules, comprising nearly 600,000 components. With a maximum oil storage capacity of 60,000 tons, it is designed to withstand extreme sea conditions that occur once in a century. Its design life is 30 years, and it can operate continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to port. 6654a414e4b03b5da6d0f96f.JPG The "Hai Kui 1" is loading at anchor in the port of Qingdao, Shandong Province. The "Hai Kui 1" can process about 5,600 tons of crude oil per day. The Luhua Oilfield Phase II development project, where it is located, has pioneered a new development model in China, combining "deepwater pipeline racks" with a cylindrical FPSO, offering a fresh approach to efficient development of deepwater oil and gas fields in China. 6654a481e4b03b5da6d0f971.JPG Workers are unmooring the "Hai'an No. 1".
