On April 23rd, at the Xiaomi Investor Conference, Lei Jun announced important news: as of the 20th, the pre-orders for the Xiaomi SU7 had exceeded 70,000 units, and the annual delivery target has been raised to over 100,000 units.

Speaking about the gross profit margin of the Xiaomi SU7, Lei Jun expressed gratitude for the support from suppliers and projected the gross profit margin to be between 5-10%.

He further stated, "The goal of Xiaomi's automotive venture is not only to achieve low-level profitability, but also to become one of the top five global automakers in the next 15-20 years, leading the new generation of global hardcore technology."

According to the latest reports from domestic media, Xiaomi's second new car is positioned as a pure electric SUV, expected to be launched in the first half of 2025, maintaining the design standards of the first model. The preliminary positioning of the third car is in the 150,000 yuan range, planned to be launched in 2026.

Xiaomi has a clear product roadmap, with three new cars planned within three years. Initially establishing brand tone with high-end sedans and SUVs, then introducing low-priced models to expand sales and gradually capture mainstream market users.

In the first year, leveraging user insights and stunning design, Xiaomi quickly established brand influence; the second year will see competition in the mainstream market, necessitating solid SUV products to build reputation; in the third year, low-priced models will be introduced, rapidly expanding Xiaomi's user base through design and technological decentralization. s_a1aad7f931be44069a0460aacabd425b.jpg
