Xue Jian believes that extending vacation time not only enhances societal well-being and public happiness but is also a fundamental right of workers.

He emphasizes that further implementing the practical and flexible use of paid annual leave for employees plays a positive role in enhancing the happiness of the entire population, improving family relationships and social connections, and promoting social harmony.

With the development of the Chinese economy, boosting consumption is crucial for economic health. Therefore, moderately extending actual vacation time for workers helps create more demand for dining, tourism, etc., and contributes to boosting consumption.

In fact, China's public holidays do not differ much from those of most European and American countries.

Excluding make-up holidays, China's public holidays include: New Year's Day (1 day on January 1st), Spring Festival (3 days from the first to the third day of the lunar calendar), Qingming Festival (1 day on the day of Qingming on the lunar calendar), Labor Day (1 day on May 1st), Dragon Boat Festival (1 day on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month), Mid-Autumn Festival (1 day on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month), National Day (3 days from October 1st to 3rd), totaling 11 days.

However, considering paid leave, Chinese workers' total number of vacation days per year is fewer than that of most countries globally. s_bd47b50e3a3140d182bfa00f1c4ca368.jpg
