AMD has introduced two new desktop processors: the Ryzen 7 8700F and the Ryzen 5 8400F.
Today, we have the Ryzen 7 8700F in our review lab, and here's a visual tour for you.
The Ryzen 7 8700F is based on the Zen 4 architecture, retaining the key features of the Ryzen 7 8700G, including 8 cores, 16 threads, 8MB L2 cache, 16MB L3 cache, and a 65W TDP.
As a processor with the "F" suffix, the Ryzen 7 8700F drops the Radeon 780M integrated graphics. However, paired with a more powerful discrete graphics card, the absence of integrated graphics has minimal impact.
Notably, while lacking integrated graphics, the Ryzen 7 8700F comes equipped with an NPU, known as the Ryzen AI independent engine, providing robust support for applications like artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Moreover, AMD Ryzen AI is upgradable. As time progresses and AI evolves, new AI feature models will be continuously released, enabling efficient AI tasks both in the cloud and on local client devices.
