[CNMO Tech News] Renowned tech blogger Mark Gurman has revealed that Apple is planning to release the first batch of computers featuring the next-generation M4 chip later this year, with more models set to follow in the coming year. He further outlined the roadmap for these Mac products.

According to Gurman's disclosures, by the end of 2024, we can expect an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the M4 chip, as well as a brand-new 24-inch iMac also powered by the M4 chip. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0415%2Fd76c6794j00sbyd40000ad000go009cg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg In early 2025, Apple will focus on updates for the high-end market, unveiling 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. Simultaneously, the new Mac mini will offer two configurations, one with the M4 chip and the other with the M4 Pro chip.

Come springtime, Apple will unveil all-new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, also powered by the M4 series chips, injecting more power into the thin and light Air lineup. By mid-2025, the highly anticipated Mac Studio workstation will also receive an iteration with high-end M4 chips, providing top-tier performance support for professional creatives.

Finally, as Apple's top-tier desktop device, the Mac Pro is expected to be outfitted with the M4 Ultra chip in the latter half of the year. It's worth noting that while Apple has tested the M3 Ultra chip internally, at least some high-end desktops may directly leapfrog the M3 series and adopt the M4 chip for more significant performance improvements.

Additionally, it's emphasized that Apple's development of the M4 chip series will place particular emphasis on optimizing performance for artificial intelligence. This indicates that future Mac products will boast enhanced capabilities in machine learning, speech recognition, image processing, and more, promising users a more intelligent user experience.
