At that time, Apple will introduce an upgraded version of the Siri voice assistant, incorporating a new generative AI system that enables more functionalities and supports continuous conversations.
Insiders reveal that Apple has no plans to launch a chatbot to directly compete with ChatGPT. Instead, the focus is on enhancing Siri to better serve users, such as setting timers and creating schedules.
Apple has announced that WWDC 2024, themed around AI, will take place from June 10 to June 14 in the Pacific Time Zone.
At the event, Apple is set to unveil the next generation of operating systems: iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2.
According to the list of upgraded models exposed by MacRumors, iOS 18 will support upgrades for 24 models, consistent with iOS 17.
Models from iPhone SE 3 and above, including iPhone XR, will be supported, but this may be the last major version upgrade for iPhone XR.
