The report pointed out that Apple's generative AI large model partners include Google, Baidu, OpenAI, and other companies. The AI functions of the Chinese version of the iPhone will be provided by Baidu, while the AI functions of other markets will be supported by Google Gemini and OpenAI ChatGPT.
It is understood that iOS 18 will integrate generative AI functions for the first time. By then, Apple's Siri voice assistant, Spotlight, Apple Music, Health, and input method applications will become more intelligent and easier to use.
It is worth noting that the iPhone 16 series will be upgraded with a new neural network engine, which means that part of the generative AI functions of iOS 18 will be exclusive to the iPhone 16 series.
