On April 8, news surfaced that Apple's unreleased products often become the subject of various leaks online, typically traced back to employees or those within its supply chain.

However, according to Apple's confidentiality agreements, both employees and supply chain partners are expected to maintain strict secrecy regarding upcoming products.

Recent reports reveal a lawsuit filed in the Santa Clara County Superior Court in California, where Apple has taken legal action against a former employee, Andrew Aude.

Apple accuses Aude of leaking sensitive company information, a serious breach of the confidentiality agreement, and is seeking damages exceeding $25,000 (about 180,000 RMB).

Aude, who joined Apple in 2016 and was involved in optimizing battery performance, had access to numerous highly confidential project details.

According to Apple's complaint, over five years, Aude consistently leaked secrets, including details on at least six products such as Vision Pro.

Moreover, he disclosed information on Apple's product development policies, regulatory compliance strategies, and even sensitive details like staffing changes in various departments.

Apple argues that Aude's actions not only posed an "ongoing threat" to the company but also undermined the surprise and delight new products bring to consumers. As a result, Apple is adamant about seeking compensation for damages and the forfeiture of Aude's bonuses and stock options. s_0860f3b23a6e44d7b00e34220bf09b25.jpg
