On April 14th, reports surfaced indicating that Apple is gearing up to introduce a range of AI features, including chatbots, to the iPhone in the latter half of this year, aiming to boost sales of its flagship device.

It's understood that Apple plans to utilize Google's Gemini within the new iOS to provide chatbot functionality, while also rolling out its own AI engine, primarily for backend operations.

According to the latest figures from market research firms, Apple sold a total of 17.41 million iPhones in February this year, capturing 18% of the global smartphone shipment market.

This sales figure falls behind Samsung Electronics' 19.69 million units, prompting Apple to seemingly aim at regaining its lead over Samsung through AI advancements.

Earlier, Apple's marketing chief, Joswiak, hinted at significant AI-related announcements at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), describing it as "Absolutely Incredible." ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0414%2F300d5d37j00sbx8c7000od000go00b4g.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg
