On March 19th, industry insider Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is set to unveil the iPad Pro 2024 at the end of March or early April.

Mark Gurman suggests that the likelihood of Apple releasing new products in April is higher. As of now, the iPadOS 17.4 system is not expected to be completed until the end of March at the earliest. Subsequently, the system needs to be sent to factories and installed on the iPad Pro 2024, a process that could take several weeks.

Furthermore, Gurman indicates that Apple will not hold a launch event for the iPad Pro but will instead announce it through press releases and directly list it for sale on the Apple website, similar to the approach taken with the M3 MacBook Air.

Reportedly, the most significant change in the iPad Pro 2024 is the abandonment of the mini-LED display, opting instead for OLED, marking it as the most powerful iPad in Apple's history.

Compared to LCD and mini-LED displays, OLED panels offer numerous advantages such as deeper blacks, higher contrast ratios, and better dynamic range.

Moreover, OLED consumes less power, resulting in longer battery life for the OLED iPad Pro compared to existing models.

Additionally, due to the thinner profile of OLED displays compared to the aforementioned displays, it will also contribute to the overall slimming down of the device. s_e68cc514809148798f3bd0970778df89.jpg
