Apple's New Ad: iPhone 15 Starts at 128GB, Suggesting "Bigger Isn't Always Better"

On March 19th, while Android devices flood the market with models boasting 512GB storage, Apple remains firm with the iPhone 15 starting at 128GB. And surprisingly, Apple sees nothing wrong with that.

In perhaps an attempt to ease user "storage anxiety," Apple has released a new promotional video emphasizing the capabilities of the 128GB iPhone 15. It claims that ample space is available for storing a vast number of photos and videos, albeit through cloud storage (with the purchase of iCloud storage).

According to Apple's pitch, the 128GB iPhone 15 is more than sufficient. However, let's be real – just managing WeChat alone might be a struggle.

In the current iPhone 15 lineup, even the Pro version starts at 128GB, with only the Pro Max kicking off at 256GB. This strategy reflects Apple's lucrative business plan of profiting from storage upgrades (which they've been doing successfully for years).

Of course, users aren't entirely buying into Apple's pitch. Whether it's cloud storage or upgrading internal memory, it all comes at an extra cost. Apple, who do you expect to foot the bill? s_82fdc9ba5d6748709d2495783158946e.png
