However, if you're hoping for a comprehensive upgrade in screen specs, you might be in for a bit of a letdown. Despite the change in the iPad mini's screen assembly orientation, the iPad mini 7's display technology is expected to remain at 60Hz and continue utilizing LCD screen technology.
What is jelly scrolling? It refers to a phenomenon where one half of the display refreshes noticeably slower than the other half, causing a wobbly effect similar to jelly jiggling.
Currently, Apple is also facing a class-action lawsuit alleging that the jelly scrolling issue on its tablets is rendering the iPad mini 6 unusable.

The next generation iPad mini is definitely going to have a faster processing power. The current iPad mini features the A15 Bionic chip, but according to leaks from a Weibo blogger, the iPad mini 7 will come with the A16 Bionic chip.
For Apple users, having the iPad mini 7 equipped with the A16 chip might not be a huge leap forward, as the performance of the A16 chip is evidently behind the existing A17 and A18 chips found in iPhones.
However, users can still expect a moderate improvement in CPU and GPU performance with the new iPad mini. Additionally, the components of the iPad mini 7 will be updated, including support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
