On April 9th, at yesterday's Zhiji L6 launch event, Zhiji drew heavily from Xiaomi's SU7. However, due to a critical parameter being labeled incorrectly, Xiaomi officially criticized Zhiji through consecutive posts.

As of now, Zhiji Motors' official statement and Co-CEO Liu Tao have apologized three times for this incident, consistently emphasizing that there was no intention of defamation.

In the latest apology, Zhiji Motors stated that they have neither the intention nor the ability to challenge the overwhelming influence of Xiaomi's automotive sector, and they also requested Xiaomi to "show mercy in their criticism." d2434f6d-5b65-4277-9b1e-e55eb1ade1f2.png According to the latest vehicle sales data released by SAIC Group, as of March 31st this year, Zhi Ji Automobile's cumulative sales for January to March were 10,001 units.

Earlier in an interview, Liu Tao had disclosed that Zhi Ji Automobile's sales target for 2024 is between 120,000 and 130,000 units. To achieve this target, Zhi Ji needs to achieve monthly sales of 10,000 to 10,800 units, requiring a year-on-year growth of 213.32% to 239.43%.

Based on these figures, Zhi Ji Automobile's cumulative sales in the first quarter are only about 8% of Liu Tao's previously announced sales target, indicating a lower level of goal attainment. 25dfbf84-78ac-4bf1-a010-2c726e2a77fd.jpg
