On April 7th, significant progress was made on the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway (referred to as the Xi-Shi High-Speed Railway) as the continuous beam of the Xianhe Extra Large Bridge, spanning across the G210 National Highway, was successfully connected.

This extraordinary bridge has a total length of 8397 meters, with the length of the continuous beam poured this time measuring 146.6 meters. Due to the need to cross over the renovated G210 National Highway, the aerial operations posed considerable challenges.

It is understood that the mainline of the Xi-Shi High-Speed Railway is approximately 256.7 kilometers in length, with a designed maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It passes through Xi'an and Shangluo cities in Shaanxi Province, as well as Shiyan City in Hubei Province, connecting with the already completed Han-Shi High-Speed Railway.

In the Shaanxi section, the total length of this high-speed railway is about 169.4 kilometers, and this section will have five new stations including Xi'an East, Lantian, Shangluo West, Shanyang, and Manchuanguan.

It is expected that after the opening of the Xi-Shi High-Speed Railway, the travel time from Xi'an to Shiyan will be shortened to within 1 hour, while the railway travel time from Xi'an to Wuhan will be reduced from the current 5 hours to approximately 2.5 hours. c8cfb8baa36e45788128ed5dc661195e.gif
