On April 17th, Changan Automobile released its annual report for 2023.
The data shows that Changan Automobile achieved an operating income of 151.298 billion yuan in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 24.78%. The net profit attributable to the parent company reached 11.327 billion yuan, up by 45.25% year-on-year.
In terms of sales, Changan Automobile sold over 2.55 million vehicles in 2023, with sales of its own brand new energy vehicles exceeding 470,000 units and overseas sales of its own brand surpassing 230,000 units, both reaching historic highs.
For the sales target in 2024, Changan Automobile Group is determined to reach 2.8 million units, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%.
Its main brands include Changan Yulong with 1.25 million units, Changan Qiyuan with 250,000 units, Shenlan Automobile with 280,000 units, Avita with 90,000 units, and Changan Kaicheng with 230,000 units.
The sales target for new energy vehicles is 750,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 55.9%, while overseas market sales target is 480,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 33.2%.
To achieve this, Changan Automobile will launch eight new products including E07, C798, Shenlan G318, and Avita 15 this year. Meanwhile, Changan Qiyuan A07, Shenlan SL03, Shenlan S7, and other newly modified products will be launched successively.
By 2030, Changan Automobile aims to surpass a total sales volume of 5 million units, with 4 million units from its domestic sector, 3 to 3.5 million units from new energy vehicles, and 1.2 million units from overseas sales, aiming to become a world-class automotive enterprise.
