On April 16, Ampace unveiled its latest commercial energy storage outdoor integrated machine, the "Ampace C5," which achieves dual breakthroughs in architecture and battery cells through its innovative "Unassisted Cold Whole-Temperature Zone Control Scheme."

Of note, Ampace's exclusive development of the "Unassisted Cold Whole-Temperature Zone Control Scheme" stands out for its minimalist temperature control design philosophy. This scheme not only astonishingly reduces auxiliary power operation costs by 75% but also decreases auxiliary power consumption by 55.2%. Simultaneously, equipment deployment costs are reduced by 34.6%. This innovative achievement significantly enhances the product's cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.

In terms of power consumption control, the Ampace C5 demonstrates outstanding performance. Compared to the industry's common liquid cooling power consumption exceeding 3%, Ampace's unassisted cold whole-temperature zone control scheme precisely controls power consumption to within 1.35%, further enhancing energy utilization efficiency.

Behind these remarkable performances lies Ampace C5's innovative breakthroughs in architecture and battery cells. At the architectural level, the scheme discards traditional liquid cooling and air conditioning cooling methods, adopting a minimalist architectural design to achieve wide-temperature operation. This ensures that the battery cells maintain optimal working conditions under various environmental conditions, thereby ensuring the stability and reliability of the energy storage system.

At the battery cell level, the Ampace C5 employs the newly developed Kunlun battery 2.0 enhanced with the new GT40 technology. This battery features new negative and positive electrodes, new electrolyte materials, and a unique dual-tab design, effectively improving the battery's high-temperature tolerance. This innovative technology provides Ampace C5 with more powerful energy storage and release capabilities.

Additionally, Ampace relies on its industry-leading non-liquid-cooled whole-machine IP56 protection technology, providing outstanding protective performance for the Ampace C5. This technology achieves full isolation of the internal and external compartments, C5-level corrosion resistance, and wide temperature range adaptability from -25°C to 55°C, enabling the Ampace C5 to easily withstand harsh environments such as strong winds, drifting sand, heavy rain, and snowstorms.

In terms of safety, the Ampace C5 also performs admirably. From battery cells to the system, the product adopts a multi-level safety defense design. At the battery cell level, the exclusive "Core Shield" technology effectively ensures that the battery cells do not propagate in case of thermal runaway. At the system level, the Ampace C5 employs a top venting design, further enhancing the system's safety assurance capabilities in case of abnormal situations. s_2f6344146df74aae85180bc3954fe497.png
